Hello from the land of brass giraffes and sick teenaged girls

Yep, my blogging has been spotty and I’m sorry guys. Here at Casa EyeSpy I’ve been a little obsessed with all things MINTY. Spare time has been spent polishing brass and chrome, hauling boxes over to the booth, and fluffing fluffing fluffing.

Plus a good bit of inner dialogue like this: Keep it for me? No, it’s for MINTY! Put it in my house? No, it’s for MINTY! But, it’s so preeeeeetty. No, it’s for MINTY!  The worst inner struggle was over this fantastically fabulous 42" brass giraffe.

Isn’t she magnificent? Did I mention she’s 42" tall??? And solid brass???

But I have remained strong. I toted that big brass baby over to the booth. And she found a good new home within a matter of days. Then, I found Big Giraffe’s tiny cousin… a gorgeous little brass giraffe suited for tabletop display.

I tweeted about this little girl giraffe yesterday and *wham bam zam!!* — looks like she also is going to a new home.

And then temptation continues to mount as Nelya is stocking MINTY with all this great stuff that I have wanted all my life. More inner dialogue! Seriously, can you believe how good these things are?

Another blogging distraction is mean old mono. My sweet 15-year-old is laid up with fever, fatigue, swollen glands, headache and homework worries over icky mono. This sweet boy is helping though:

I've loaded bunches of photos of MINTY merchandise to facebook albums. Take a peek at the goodies there. And check out the MINTY website for posts about more new items.

Oh, I hope sweet girl's recovery is coming along fast and furious. She does have the best brood of companions, though.

And the giraffe, well, I could just cry I wanted it soooo bad. But, alas, we must remain vigilant and MINTY strong! It ain't easy.
