List Love — 02.21.10

It’s Sunday — so it’s time to peruse the pretties on this week’s Atlanta Craigslist. Combing through the listings, I'm detecting a real 80s vibe. A few of those items are shown here.

Make your selections! And email me if you buy something — I love to know when decor orphans find good homes.

Biomorphic 1980s console — $65 { paint it gold, add a thicker glass top, + it’s a Duquette wanna-be! }

Fab bar stools — $300 / set of 6

Potting bench — $30

36" round wooden-top coffee table — $35 { I'd paint or strip the top }

Pair of Frenchy-poo nightstands — $100 / 2  { I'd paint them white or gray }

Solid wood coffee table with smoked glass top and brass feet — $70

Antique-ish 5-light chandelier — $165

Antique windsor armchair — $200

Steelcase metal desk — $40

List Hate:

Rare! Oh-so-hard-to-find Scarface spinning light with sound effects — $200

I swear, we don't see this kind of killer stuff in the Bay Area.
I dread looking at your list love because it hurts!!!

You say potting bench, I say outdoor bar. That removable top and tray would be perfect for ice and serving adult beverages. Perhaps a coat of paint and you're in business! Hmmm, Gainesville, a day trip? ;0)

Your house must be killer!

Love the console table.

I loved the outdoor bar, I mean potting table so much that I bought it! It's going to be a hybrid on my deck - an "Outdoor Potting Bar!" It sounds so deviant that way. Love it!
