Take a look at ModFruGal’s legs

I read so many blogs that I really can’t keep count and can’t keep them straight. And I start imagining patterns in the content.  { Hey, I see lots of patterns. Everywhere. But that’s a whole different story... }

Yesterday, Cup of Jo broadcast a Trend Alert! The style vanguard attending Fashion Week were baring their legs as if they left home without the bottom portions of their outfits.

Today in New York, The Sartorialist has captured long black jackets paired with long nude legs. { You’re thinking of that Cake song now, aren't you? }

But the legs I like most belong to ModFruGal. She found these lemon yellow sawhorses for $50 at Home Depot and assembled a temporary outdoor dining area that looks inviting, casual, and modern.

Then, she saw these Tolix Trestles on one of my favorite blogs, Remodelista. Tolix makes the finest vintage-yet-modern-basic, Euro-cool pieces. And their trestles are strikingly similar to ModFruGal’s Home Depot find — except for the whopping $595 price tag. Both are powder-coated, her’s are adjustible.

I have to say ModFruGal’s projects on and outside her Nashville home always interest me. She has a keen design eye, a real can-do attitude, and — just like us reals — she’s watching the dollar signs. It’s amazing what she can accomplish with a tiny budget and a weekend’s time. Be sure to take a peek at her random images too — nice eye candy.

I guess I'll see you at Home Depot this weekend? Is that what you're trying to tell me? :0)
Thanks for sharing this new to me blog!

Brilliant. The sawhorses, not the bare legs. I'm off to check out the blog!
