Tossed & Found

This afternoon, a smiling package from Amazon was waiting on my front stoop. Yay!  My copy of Tossed & Found by Linda and John Meyers had arrived. When I cracked open the book, the first thing I saw was a detailed, step-by-step how-to for what might be my all-time favorite piece of seating. { Below. } Wow! Thomas Minton’s Orientalist motifs painted on an old Eames chair. How’s that for a little Chinese cherry on top of a Japanese textiles kind of day?

That chair is WOW. I have this book on my Amazon wish list, but I'm waiting until we move to have it shipped.

That chair blows spectacular out of the water! Speaking of tossed & found (how awesome is that title!), I posted on this very subject today. I don't think my grandparents every met a piece of curbside "Junque" they didn't love. I fear it's genetic!
