Brigette + Alain Garnier

Brigette and Alain Garnier are Belgian antique dealers and interior designers whose work is beautifully exemplified in the exquisitely renovated 18th century monastery that they call home. The stone slabs, rich woods, neutral linens, spare arrangements, and loads of somber, elegant neutral tones define “the Belgium look.” Add to that, perfect specimens of ages-old furnishings and decor collected from all over Europe. Here are photos of the Garnier’s estate along with a selection of their handsome antiques.

Exquisite, breathtakingly exquisite. I want to feel the walls, the fabric, and oh yes, the dog brush. Even the marquetry under the brush has caught my eye! I'm especially drawn the the beautiful floors. I will revisit this posting again and again.

My fav is the chopping-block type end
table two photos above the dog heads.
Their style is gorgeous. I could live there.

Do they have a gold stove, or is it just my imagination?

Love the wooden dog heads!

I'd flat out kill for those dog heads. And, yes, golden goodness on the cooker!
