Monday Mash-up: Funny ha-ha

I like to laugh. I like to smile. I like interiors that possess an amusing element or a bit of wit. Here are some fun(ny) looking interiors that mix up high and low, new and old.

Fancy Nancy? No! Above photos by Jeremy Samuelson

I also like to see the unexpected. Reminds me of some friends who have a beautiful home with lots of antiques. There's a display case with something that looks like priceless fossils, but upon closer inspection, are actually antique dentures.

Very interesting! Fun to look at but I too like the unexpected- especially when it works well.

I love interiors with a sense of playfulness. These are fantastic!

i'll consider crystal chandeliers when they are self-clean/dusting. quirky details are my forte.

It is wonderful when people allow their quirkiness to be on display.
Love the post!

I love my rooms with a good size helping of cheer. I didn't even realize at first that it was a chalkboard behind the chandalier. And then I did. And then I smiled.

Speaking of funny, there always seems to be a dinosaur lurking in the most unusual spot in my house as well. Or a Star Wars action figure.

These are great, Susie!!!
