Reader House Tour: Therese Long

Therese Long and I were cut from the same cloth. Like so many of us, she’s an antiques scavenger who loves the thrill of the hunt. She left a comment on eye spy, we began emailing, I read her blog, I visited her etsy shop, one thing lead to another… And now I have a bad case of fireplace envy. I think you will too. Here is Therese’s beautiful San Francisco home followed by a selection of her fabulous finds.

Oh and did I mention that Therese has a real thing for dolphins? Therese Long is LaDolfina!

Therese, tell us about these pillows! They look like Missoni, but crazy better. Who, what, where?

And now for a bit of shameless promotion: I had the honor and great fun of designing Therese’s logo, blog banner, and etsy banner. Thank you Therese!

I adore people who live well.

P.S. I've been kicking myself for not picking up that Z Gallerie octopus pillow (my Zoinks aversion kept me from it).

P.P.S. Top-notch job on the graphic design!

Well I have a full-on case of whole house envy. Does that require medication? What a spectacular home. I love all the natural organic elements on display, especially the beautiful chinoiserie cabinet filled with shell and coral specimens. And is that a cabinet of curiosities I spy. You are killing me here, Therese!

Susie, after this weeks' deliciousness, I NEED the weekend to recover. BRAVO!

OMG Susie, I just saw your post and am so honored and thrilled at the same time!!
You are the most amazing and generous soul!! Thank you so much for all you've done for me.
I am eternally grateful to have made such a wonderful new friend:)
FYI-Those pillows are made from several silk Missoni (You were right!) scarves I bought at The Nordstrom Rack on sale a few years ago.
