Union Jacks at Urban Outfitters

Not meant to be ironic on Veterans Day, but I've found a flag that's perfect for a sewing project! { It's a British Flag and their Veterans Day is June 27th so no disrespect, right? } Remember that Union Jack-covered chair from Dan Marty Designs that had me all atwitter? That chair crosses my mind at least weekly and I'm determined to upholster something in those bold, crossed stripes. So, I was jumping in my desk chair when I stumbled on Urban Outfitters new Union Jack bedspread. Only $36. It measures 108" x 90" and the scale is too large for a small chair. But, used cunningly it might just be a fabulous fabric for an upholstery or window covering project.
